My travel companion, Susanne, approaching the Long Beach Bungalow at the Chaweng Beach on the island of Ko Samui, Thailand in 1980. The small cottages in the background could be rented very cheaply and a little restaurant served excellent seafood, vegetables and fresh fruit for the few backpackers that had discovered this little paradise back then. Oh, and not to forget the powerful local Thai sticks that were also available and helped making the tropical evenings even more magical.
