Description
This is my OC, Eduardo or "Ed/Eddie" and he's in the same group of superhumans as Toby, Leo, and Indigo.

Ed is an empath, he can feel and see other people's emotions and use it as magic energy, in which he generates force-field like projections. He can also make them into simple shapes. Later on in the timeline of the story however, Ed becomes incredibly powerful, he actually has various different psionic abilities.

Some Stuff About Emi:

In this world there are "types" of powers:
Type A: Object Manipulation
        - Leo
Type B: Organism Manipulation
    Type B1: Transformation
  Type B2: Psionic
        - Indigo
        - Ed (it can be argued that he's also a Type D)
Type C: Super Human Enhancements
Type D: Non-matter Manipulation
        - Toby
Type E: Spatial Manipulation

Because Ed is a psionic, he often has trouble with other people. This is true with all others with psionic abilities, and many of them struggle to cope with their powers. So it's necessary for them to have an "anchor", something to occupy their head space, something to focus on. This can be puzzles, games, work, a pet, or another kind of object, but it's suggested NOT to choose another person, as that person often can't handle their issues.
There's a word for psionics who go insane if they can't control themselves - they call it going "corrupt".

Instead of choosing an anchor, Ed often just chooses things that dull his abilities for as long as possible - such as drugs or sleeping around with strangers. He definitely has a problem that isn't easy to solve. As a child, he once became anchored to his friend, and his obsession with her drove her off. Ed continued to have an extremely painful magical outburst without her - and ended up killing a lot of people from the explosions. For a long time his panic attacks happened often, and as a teen had to wear a type of apparatus on his arm that would inject something to put him to sleep if his heart rate got too high. He got rid of it after learning more control.

His problem now is that he remains distant from other people in fear of latching on to someone again. He appears laid back 24/7, but on the inside he's having a constant panic attack while he feels different emotions left and right from other people (he can sorta dodge them sometimes). Now as he's forced to team up with four other superhumans, and a lot of that has to change.
Much, much later on though Ed can't help but get attached to Leo, as his magical outbursts become more common and more severe after the four escape from confinement.
