This is my personal response to a particular episode in my country, Malaysia, where the people gathered to protest against unfair elections. The movement is known as Bersih (Clean), meant to demand that the authorities "clean up" the electoral system. However, although I strongly agree with the movement, I can't help but feel it is somehow hijacked by certain people with other agendas as well...

Here's a brief translation of what's up there (it's like an argument really):

Kotor = Dirty
Bersih = Clean
Tipu = Lies
Penipu = Liar
Tak Bersyukur = Ungrateful
Penindas = Oppressor
Tak Adil = Not fair
Jangan Mengganas = Don't be violent
Berbincang = Discuss
Berunding = Negotiate
Tenang = Calm (down)
Cuba saling memahami = Try to understand each other
Berdamai = (make) Peace

p.s: "Boleh-land" is what some Malaysians sometimes call Malaysia. Boleh = Can. Once we had a slogan; "Malaysia Boleh!" implying Malaysia can do so many things (this was meant to empower people - more or less). But I've had enough of rhetorics...

I see the "oppressor" is the one with the serpentine blade? What does that symbolize?

And the adversary holds a broomstick and calls the other "clean!" as in a command or is it "name-calling?" I'm confused.
