ok, just discovering this one, and I realize it's older. Also, I'm no pro, I'm just thinking about what I like and such.
i love this concept. The lovers as dancers, even in private wearing the ballet shoes on her toes.
I'd like it even move if it looked more like one shot.
Still, the poses and framing of the model are fantastic. Very emotive. There's movement there. On the whole, I love it a lot.

Seems like she has that halo thing around her ..... I get that when I do a highpass overlay layer. Don't know if it's intentional or not. I love the feeling presented by the coloration of this shot though.

Χμμμ... Πιστεύω ότι η ιδέα που θέλεις να περάσεις δεν έχει δοθεί πολύ καλά. Εμένα τουλάχιστον δεν μου προξενεί την ιδέα ότι οι κοπέλες έχουν ερωτική σχέση. Περισσότερο μου μοιάζει σαν και η δυο να κοιτιούνται σε διαφορετικούς καθρέφτες και να κάνουν πρόβες για κάποιό σόου. Συγνώμη, αλλά εσύ ήθελες constructive criticism! ^_^ Κατά τα άλλα, έχεις δόσει ένα αίσθημα μυστηρίου και απαγορευμένου με αυτό το φωτισμό που επέλεξες. Καλή δουλειά!

This is beautiful - I like the way the lighting and shadows really bring out the shape and volume within the model. Very well done.

I'm not crazy about the lighting in this one ,I feel the brightness behind the modles a bit distracting. I love the black and white image however

Well as a constructive critique i can say that the light halo around your model isnt fine for my eye (especially around the hair) and the lighting could be a lil softer ... apart from these i like it, the tones are fine too

My biggest problem with the image, is that the doors line up well at the bottom but at the top, it becomes obvious that they are two different sizes. Given the coloration between the two figures, this can work if it's intentional it sets the viewer off balance some. If it's not intentional, then it can be problematic given the mirror like relationship between the two halves of the image.

I like it, but for me the B&W version is amazing.
As for minor constructive input that I did not see in the other comments - for me there is a slight, strange halo on the upper side (around hair, around arm, a bit more pronounced on left side).

the colour doesn't work for me, the b&w version is a lot classier. also, i would prefer if the perspectice an framing supported the "twin" illusion better

I like this one better than the black and white... I'm not sure why but I do. The lighting is awesome and dramatic. My only real "criticism" if you want to call it that is the light halo around the dancer in the shadowy areas. I understand it makes her stand out from the shadows a bit better but in my opinion it takes away from the photo a little. It seems off.
But that's just my two sense for what it's worth.

Not sure if this is a constructive criticism or not, but the alignment kills the composition. I'm talking about the lines of the door at the top of the image. At first I thought it was two women, but those lines I addressed ruined the illusion. Not that it's a bad image, it's just something I noticed that would give you the constructive criticism you needed. I personally like the image for its lighting. The blues and oranges are great.

I agree w. Newsonn, in thumbnail view it grabbed my attention because of what appeared to be twins. In larger view my attention was immediately grabbed by the wonky lines in the floor & doors, then to the fact the shadows go different directions. Sadly, THEN I looked at the model.
I do like the concept, it's original and the way you set it up the merge it looks just like the center post in a set of double doors. I'd like to see what you do with the same idea after the comments.
