Description Brochure designed and illustrated to clarify and humanize the complicated and stressful Child Youth and Family Enhancement Act. This brochure is being used to explain the process that is initiated when social services determines a child must be removed from a home. Being a father I couldn't imagine the stress involved, and wanted to portray the humanity while avoiding stereotypes. This was another project for the Native Counselling Services of Alberta...a rare client who trusts my instincts and deeply values what an artist can bring to a project.

I really appreciate you taking the time to point out why you like a piece.

I wanted this to be a strong piece and my clients were happy, they said that the people had good spirit.

Thanks you are kind of the nicest! I really do try and capture some humanity in my figures..my client said that they had "great spirit" which is about the best thing they could say to me!

I'm swamped with nuw buisness and work....but I'll get around to doing some traditional painting one day here

This still impresses me when I look at it! Great colour, great emotion, awesome drawing! I'm glad you got these up here!
