Cute. I don't understand why TOS and TAS female characters don't wear the standard enlisted-crewmen jumpsuits more often. Nurse Chapel wore them during surgery sessions in Sickbay.

Nichelle Nichols said that they were wearing skorts, not skirts, so there wouldn't have been anything to see.
But that wouldn't have been funny.

To me, the less humanoid an alien, the better for credibility.

I doubt that the nautiloids care about her short skirt.

Maybe not, but I wouldn't want aliens seeing my underwear.

A combination of Federation and Tholian designs for the ship?

More or less.
The space cruiser "Aurora" from "The Way To Eden" was originally a Tholian ship with some bits from AMT model kits glued on. Β This is a variation on the "Aurora."
Frankly, in the original TOS, we only saw 4 Federation designs.
Enterprise, K7, the Shuttlecraft and the Aurora.
To me it's a shame that the "remastered" version of the show retconned 33% of Matt Jeffries Federation designs out of existence.

Problem is, if I use *that* hyperintelligent shade of the color blue, the hooloovoos will take over Deviant Art.
Then you'd really have the blues.

I wonder how many others here have any idea what we're talking about...
