I love David Tennant, but Matt Smith is pretty awesome. I think it would be better if they hadn't changed EVERYTHING all at once tho...

Sigh, I REALLY hope that David gets a BIG part in something soon. I mean, aside from a bit part in How to Train Your Dragon (I didn't even realize the man was in it until I saw the credits), he hasn't been in anything post Doctor-Who. So yeah, I really miss him too. Oh well, couldn't ask for a better Tennant replacement than Matt Smith, IMO. He's taken Tennant's character, and reworked it to make it all his own. But meh, hope David finds some work.

We all miss him slightly, but come on, you have to admit that Matt Smith has done an awesome job so far considering that he had to replace David. Personally, I love the new Doctor, and this series has been one of my favourites

I have to admit that I think Matt would be great if the writing was better (i.e. Don't shoot the actor for a bad script). He's youthful and quirky, which I like. I feel that this series was lacking in depth and character that RTD brought to the show, and it made me hurt a little inside.
But that's my opinion, take it with a grain of salt.

I didn't particularly like 'vincent and the doctor' for the reason that it was mainly based on the same thing throughout. In my eyes, if they had put in a few more funny scenes or scary scenes it would have been more 'Doctor Who'.
