The mother sees the future path of her baby which is away from her...that is the wistful sadness that you see...very perceptive, you are very much able to get the emotion of this piece...thanks

Always my pleasure to feedback, but I honestly think that it's you who manages to pass a great deal of emotion through your paintings in a very tangible and fantastic way, which is one of the reasons I fell in love with your work the first time I saw it!
