I have been experimenting with re-purposing (blatant use of overused buzz word...)This is a necklace made using old wire from a previous project, viking knit with seed beads and some end caps off an old necklace, and the pendant is made from an old plastic soda bottle heated and painted with glass paint into a free form piece.

I'm not particularly fond of the central piece, but I can see the work that went into the piece. The viking knit is done very well and the overall look is quite nice. I think the end caps were well chosen to compliment the look of the design. I do love the colors of the pendant. Not my personal taste, but a very nicely crafted item with great colors and craftsmanship. The unique nature of this necklace should certainly make it a great conversation starter and a lovely addition to the right person's wardrobe. My compliments to the artist for this design.
