My OC Hotaru with Inuyasha.

Inuyasha glared at the drunken man goggling his companion. His yellow eyes stared daggers at the unsuspecting drunk. Inuyasha knew better then to lose his temper on the villager. The last thing he wanted was to feel Hotaru's disappointment looming on him because of the charm. Damn that bastard, Ryouta, for putting the blasted thing on him.

"Actually we're looking for a place to stay." Hotaru tried reasoning with the babbling drunk, but wasn't doing too well.

"How about I take you to my house and you ditch this puppy?" The man purred, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively. Hotaru cringed at the thought.

"Sir, please, I need this guy to come with me."

"Oh. He's your boyfriend or something?" The drunk raised a curious eyebrow as he wiped the drool from the corner of his mouth.

Hotaru stared blankly at the old man before having a abnormal personality change. She turned to Inuyasha, locking her finger in his bone necklace and tugging on it a bit.

"Inuyasha," Her voice was completely different, catching the hanyou off guard. It was alluring and... different. Inuyasha's cheeks grew red at the strange look he was getting from the woman. "And here I was... hoping to share a room with you!"

Both the drunk old man and Inuyasha had their jaws hanging and cheeks tomato red.

"W-well, this is different then. I can surely give you and this man a fine room. Pl-please follow me." The man seemed to regain his composure as he turned back towards his home.

Hotaru giggled and gave Inuyasha a little wink.

"Too easy, ne?" Hotaru smiled playfully at the hanyou. Inuyasha gaped at the woman, obviously still very shocked and embarressed at what just happened.

Hotaru released the necklace and turned to follow the man.

Inuyasha took a moment to think about what just happened.

"So... every thing just then... was not real, right?" The hanyou called out after the Miko. Hotaru looked back over her shoulder with a confused look.

"Of course!" And with that she entered the hut, leaving a red faced Inuyasha to wallow in his thoughts.
