Yes it is! It's a mobile game. You should try it!
It's about a bunch of cookies trying to escape from a witch's oven, hence the name "Cookie Run: Ovenbreak". You collect a bunch of cookies and try to get as far as possible. When one cookie dies, you move on to the next and start right where you left off with the last one. There are also other features in the game, such as Trophy Races and Memories.
It's also where I got my icon from! ...Well, I got it from one of the official Cookie Run comics, actually, but it's Cookie Run nonetheless.

For me, it depends if it’s a “direct to video” sequel or not. If it’s a story I really love I may watch it no matter what, but when things aren’t released in theaters there’s an implication that it’s not good enough to draw audiences to theaters.
I’ve found I mostly agree with that sentiment over the years, and am pretty choosey with how I spend my free time since I have so little of it nowadays. ;_;
Sometimes, the original movie is good enough that I don’t need something to sully the lore *cough*Pocahontas2*cough*, but there have been a decent amount of sequels nowadays.

I don't mind those as much. At root, the same story will be told over and over again anyway, so I find it interesting what new ways people tell them.
Like, I really liked the Beast's song towards the end of the 'Beauty and the Beast' live action movie- full of emotion, and definitely wasn't in the cartoon. Doesn't make me love the cartoon any less.

I think no one (short of Dan Castellaneta, who voiced Genie in Aladdin's animated series) can fill the shoes of Robin Williams.
I haven't seen enough of Will Smith's acting as the Genie to decide how I feel about him yet. If he tries to imitate Robin William's Genie that'll probably be annoying. But I am curious to see how he makes the role his own.

I miss the animated series- it didn't do anything (that I remember) that contradicted the original film, and filled it with a ton more lore and magic.
I'll likely use Rotten Tomatoes to see if it's worth seeing it in theaters or not.
