I replaced the word "bastard" ... apparently in the English language there are no words that could describe it accurately. I replaced it with something else, not as colorful, but approximate to what I had in mind.
At the expense of adventure. In my country there is a saying: "Search adventures on his ass." It means constantly getting into trouble.
