On the 7th panel, (I think it was the 7th... the one where the Treecko turned around & appeared to be annoyed at the Riolu) it was mostly the same with me in my story.
The difference is that it was 'cause my partner (an Axew) forgot to remind me to make Oran Juice (obviously derived from Oran Berry) before our first mission, which turned out to be way harder than expected. because we did suffer heavy damage there.

Upon awakening.... He soon discovers he has the ability to talk to Pokemon.
And that he's a Pokemon.
Further proven after seeing his own reflection.
Naturally, he start's to freak out, but for some reason, blames the Riolu for his unexpected circumstances.

I'm kinda jealous about how you can draw Treecko and Riolu so easily. I personally can't (even if I try hard), and as a Treecko/Riolu lover, it's really a pain.
