Oookay! SO! I bet you're all wondering what the heck, huh? Lemme summerize.

I love Naruto Primer. My little sister likes Naruto well enough, but she won't take the time to read the manga, much less read NP. So, to bribe her, I told her I'd draw a picture of whatever she wanted if she read a chapter or two. She agreed. And wanna know what she requested?

Sasuke dressed as Deery-Lou. You know. That...deer? That goes along with all that other Sanrio stuff? With big eyes and...stuff? Yeah. This was the best I could do. I felt like I was betraying Shikamaru and his Deer Heritage the whole way through! I'm sorry! Blame the sister! Huh. When I showed it to her, all she said was "The eyes are too big!" -_-

As for the picture itself...Yeah, it looks kinda odd. The neck might not actually be able to bend that far back, but that's a trivial detail! ^^ The purple is SHADOW! Shadow I say! Purple shadow! His costume thingie is not multicolored, it's Shadow! Sister made a fuss about that too, but I refused to change it. Sasuke in just plain brown is far too boring for me.

He's licking a...blue salt lick. Erm. Or maybe it's a pretend blue salt lick. I don't imagine they taste too well. The reason he has blue around his eyes and looks disturbingly like Gaara is because Deery-Lou had rings (blue?) around it's eyes! So there!

Hope I did okay with the shading and Rosie!Cheeks and all! And this is kind of an experimental way to draw the body for me too. I honestly think that with the exception of the head-angle, it's pretty nifty. But some people apparently have problems with my shadows. I'm never going to be able to handle an art life...

Note--I was not looking at a deer at the time. I don't know if the spots are...spot on (heh heh) or if the tail's too small...

The background came from this site, and the font...came from some font site. Called Billy or Buffy or something...Biffy...
