Hehe thanks for noticing! It's actually a lot of work to re-conform clothing to figures with modified body proportions.

Tenebere In reply to ken1171 [2009-02-24 00:17:07 +0000 UTC]

i could see it being a problem with pants or hosiery. i take it that it also affects shoes and boots? does it also affect the top portions of outfits?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ken1171 In reply to Tenebere [2009-02-24 01:11:36 +0000 UTC]

It affects all clothing below the hips, which include pants and shoes. Clothing will no longer conform, so I have to create special versions of every affected outfit parts - not to mention the figure morphs themselves are also affected. All figure joints need to be re-adjusted, or else knees, ankles and toes will not bend correctly. As I said, it's a lot of extra work and most people will never notice.

Tenebere In reply to ken1171 [2009-02-24 05:57:37 +0000 UTC]

interesting. i take it that is having to do with the joint parameters and the like?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ken1171 In reply to Tenebere [2009-02-24 08:20:07 +0000 UTC]

Yes, but not only parameters. The joints are out of place and need to be repositioned, and then parameters need to be adjusted for the figure and the outfits too. The trick is to make the new rig work decently together, since they have to work together. The tighter the outfit, the more difficult it becomes. Poser is very unforgiving when you change body proportions. You might have noticed that the DAZ Millennium figures came with "leg stretching" dials since generation 3, but the leg joints no longer work properly if you use them, and clothing no longer conforms. It's a long story.

Thats a cool pic but as a weapon freck I have to state that Bonnie and Clyde prefered a tomson (Bonnie) and a sawed off BAR (Clyde). There are pichers on historicle sites that show them with the guns. Still a cool pic thoe.

ken1171 In reply to Dragonjaj [2009-02-23 23:26:11 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! This is is just "inspired" by them, not meant to be historical. In that sense you will also notice Bonnie is wearing contemporary clothing, which would be out of context with the actual period.
