I hate to make BJD look creepy, but in art trades I have no choice. I think I will start declining art trades that involve creepy characters, that is not my stuff...

I tried my best to make this a balance between cute & creepy at the same time. Dolls were frequently used in horror movies because it is not too hard to make them look creepy.

Yeah, she was actually inspired by a BJD doll I saw for sale, I just changed the hair, basic colour scheme, and clothes.....but for the life of me I can't remember what model she was based on D:

This one is a 50/50% mix of the traditional Japanese BJD with the newer (and more expensive) version called "Dolfie". The latter has become so popular (despite of the high prices) that some dA artists have created entire galleries based entirely on Dolfie dolls.
