~Huuki: Soldier of Fire~A long time ago there was an elemental soldier trained in the art of fire. It is believed Huuki was a dragon descentant and she inherited the fire element from her ancient bloodline. She was raised by farmers who found her as a baby sleeping alone in a cave nearby. After a troublesome childhood where she was often accused of arsoning, she was banned from the tribe by the age of 12 and adopted by a nomad clan of mercenaries who trained her in the art of swordship. Ever since, sword and flame have become Huuki's life and pride. Not surprisingly, she is now known as the Soldier of Fire. Living through bounty hunts and raging battles to earn her precious gold coins, she has a burning desire to one day meet her real parents. Will she ever find them?

Huuki is an orphan dragon girl, one of ShadoGal Mai's best friends. The grew up together in the same village about 500 years ago. She was found by farmers as a baby in a nearby cave and she doesn't know she's half dragon. ^^

Thank you! This is actually a little excerpt from the "ShadoGal Mai Chronicles" novel I have currently writting. In the part of the story I am now, Huuki is only 7 years old and ShadoGal Mai is 8. Her personality as a child is still different from what you read here.

The morphs worked fine here so I put them to test again with the Huuki running animation you saw before, to make the hair flow with the body movement.

The idea of "destiny" is quite overused all over Anime. Just pay attention how many times the tern "運命" (unmei) is used in the original Japanese dialogs - you'd be surprised!

Yes, it's associated with the idea of "fate" or "destiny", which are both one too often embedded into Anime stories. ^^

Hehehe, the answer is actually "yes", but officially "no". The outfit came for free in the cover CD of the 3D Magazine #69, and it was created by DAZ3D but they called it "Class Warrior", unadmitedly related to FFX-2. I have sometimes dresses some of my characters with a Tifa outfit, so now it is Paine - but just in the clothes - Huuki is a whole 100% original character. See her story below the pic for more details. ^^

Hehe, this is a real nice one! The lighting seems a bit different than usual; the light does catch the skin texture in quite an interesting way
Neat outfit! The details are so many
The pose is one of my favourite parts; the balance is very well done and I love the action! Her hair also looks quite fluid and full of movement

I guess the lighting is the same, what changed was that Huuki is drenched in sweat from all the heat. ^^
It may sound silly, but what I really wanted to show here were the new morphs I've created for Mattaku's hair.
The original hair was static, but my version is posable as you can see here.

cool, though the sword metal looks a bit weird, and the skin seems plasticy, but otherwise it looks really good

Thanks you! The intent was to partially melt the sword blade due to the intense heat, which also causes Huuki of drench in sweat during battles. That was the goal, but maybe Poser's poorman renderer didn't help much in the end
