Description ~KD Police IV~

Here is my W.I.P. update showing new parts I created for my KD Police MK-1 outfit. The shirt now has UV mapping and I new created a belt buckle, a badge, a name plate and a little insignia that was added to the lapel (hard to see from this distance, it's small). Fixed the UV mapping on the boots and created a whole new color set for this pic.

I also replaced all shader node materials by textures, making this compatible with older versions of Poser and also DAZ Studio. The FBMs (full-body morphs) got damaged when I added the UV map to the shirt and I will have to create and inject them again. Now the entire outfit can be textured, adding versatility to the set. Still lots to do but I wanted to show the progress so far.

Thank you! I used to take *ages* to UV map a model, but now that I practiced more things are finally speeding up. Now I could UV map the entire shirt and all the accessories in just a few hours and I am happy about it.

This is really starting to come together now.

Just about everything here works well together.
Hell, even the tie seems mismatched (And if you watch enough Law and Order, you get the sense that most police detectives barely know how to dress, the mismatched tie is forgivable.)

This is gonna be big hit when you add it to your store!

The shirt alone has about 20 material zones, so the tie color is just one of the many you can change. ^^

Sure! The entire shirt can be textured (finished the UV maps yesterday), so you can add any patterns you like to any part of the outfit. You can also apply Poser shader nodes to create new materials if you like. ^^

Thank you! I remade all of the materials to remove shader nodes from them. Now the set is compatible with Poser 5/Pro and DAZ Studio.

I love the badge nice design. the little touches of golden color really make this one stand out. I am sitting on my hands waiting to see what the finish product will be the leather of the boots looks almost realistic Are going to work on the cuffs as well?
