This is the style I started this gallery with. ^^

They don't make figures to support that style anymore, so all we have are the old ones.

I prefer to skip A3 because she decent expressions require too much rework. It's easier to either try A4, and if not, then all the way back to the AD head. It's not easy...

A4/V4/G4/Gen1/Gen2/Dawn all have in common that they have been elaborated to mimic with more or less success the standard human body. I'm not criticizing: they tend to be as perfect as possible and I appreciate this most of the time.Β
But A3 and G3 have something special, a different touch. And people like me who doesn't know how to rework common characters completely depend on modelers/vendors. So that A3/G3 let us prepare scenes with other kind of "human species" that aren't too real, even though they have a lotΒ of defects (right word?)

But why A3 when A4 can do the same job with more versatility?

A4 is fun too, but it's too near of the V4 style, not enough different. I've often heard about that claim against A4. Oh I use it regularly. For example, Luna is one of those A4 characters that I love: see fav.me/d52v7v5 , fav.me/d5084mv . My two favs are fav.me/d3egdri and fav.me/d646hed .
Besides this, there's one other update I'd like to have too: Terai Yuki.

Oh yes, I made interesting characters with TY2. She has the best semi-realistic smiles out there! ^___^

Which reminds me that Dawn got a whole new set of facial expressions recently, but I haven't had the time to sit and look at them because of Nyanna.
