~Lucky Neko Dance~** CLICK DOWNLOAD FOR FULL SIZED ANIMATION **
It has been a while I wanted to do an animation like this, with just a few frames of neko cuteness. It features a lot of my newly created 3D models, such as the outfit, textures, bunny slippers, neko ears, posable tongue, posable tail and neko bell.
This animation was entirely created using manual traditional keyframing, and I had a lot of fun posing every part of her body for this little dance. Just as a cultural note, the gesture she is making with her hands is traditionally associated with financial good luck in Japan, and statuettes of white cats are sold with one of their paws making this gesture, while the other paw is holding a gold coin.

Ack been away for a while, this is hilarious, I can imagine lots of people using this as an avatar! Can you make a custom DA n emoticon out of it?

I already did that but the 50x50 animation becomes so small that most of the cute detail is lost.
In addition, I forgot to save the project before I closed Poser, and I only have the basic animation left.
I could probably recreate the character in a few minutes, though, but the animation fine tunning was lost.
Maybe if I framed the character only from waist up the animation could preserve some detail.
With the 50x50 full body version I have here there isn't much detail left to be cute.

That is a popular internet thing. ITs so creepily similar. XD O_O

Although they indeed look alike, there have significant semantic differences. In my animation I made the traditional Japanese lucky neko gesture (with both hands instead of just the right one) and added some hip swing for additional cuteness. Since my character is a catgirl, I think most Japanese will recognize the gesture - and thus the name "Lucky Neko" dance.

Hehe I would have to compose new music for the animation and post it as flash instead of animated GIF.
dA is the only site that allows flash animations, so I opted for GIF, which doesn't support sound.
It's always a tough decision, and music could also detract from the animation - which was not something I wanted. ^^
