nicely done. just gave me a funny idea, to do a render of what happens to the old daz figures when they are "retired". i imagined this scene with v3 in place.

you're welcome.
as for V4, i think her shelf life will extend as long as the content developers see her as a viable path. as it is, for her the foundation now rests on wet sand. we shall see though, since this iteration (V5) will be tied to an underlying technology upgrade. there is already a growing divide amongst the hobbyists with older hardware and those willing to play at "keeping up with the jones" for rendering's sake. i myself will be ok with a video card upgrade.
there have been reports of users still attempting to run the software off of Pentium 4 based systems. the higher hardware requirements coupled with the software requirements of D|S 4 may be a real division point much as the change from win 3.11 to win 95 was, or win98SE to win xp was. i can appreciate the attempts to not leave legacy users out in the cold, however there must come a point when a line must be drawn in order to maintain forward momentum.

interesting counter point. we will have to see what smith micro does now that the ball is in their court.

Historically, Poser only gets a new version when DAZ3D pushes them with a new release. Also historically, Poser always takes a while to come up with a follow up, and apparently in a rush, with plenty of rather serious bugs on the release version. So much that over a year after release, Poser Pro 2010 PSD layers STILL do not support separation of shadows from the rest of the layers. If you want separate shadows, you will have to render again without them, defeating the purpose of having PSD layers in the first place. I mean, what's the purpose of having shadows in a separate layer if it also appears in the other layers? O___O;;

Heh, I suppose though that for some immortality weighs up against being a vampire bitch's blood bag.

Never have this problem with my vampires! They behave themselves.
Well...that is if you can call getting loaded on scotch and weed then crashing a vintage motorcycle up a tree, good behavior...

"Too Eager" you say...? I probably would have described her as being "Really pissed-off" about being shackled to the wall. But then again, what would I know about sexy vampires? That is, aside from don't give her the key. Nice work.

Thanks! Vampires have gone through many revisions over time (way back to prehistory), where the most current claims them have to be very attractive for things to work in their favor. Comes down things *do* work out for the attractive ones - vampires or not. LOL
