I'd love to see this thing in 3D fully animated. It looks. . . well to be perfectly honest absolutely terrifying.
This strikes me in a similar way to Clover. I don't mean they resemble each other, I mean this feels like something that can actually exist. Something that I could meet in person (though I really really wouldn't want to).

Very nice, although I think it should be smaller if it's main attribute is it's speed. Cheetahs are not big cats, but they have speed over power. Faster usually means nimbler, and nimbler can often mean smaller. Larger mammals are usually slower, but have more muscle power. I like the head, but I don't like the way that chest sticks out, it kinda makes the head unable to move up and down, and seems to force that neck up, that would mean it can't hold it's head straight if it were to run to create an ultimate speed, it wouldn't be streamlined enough.
Maybe try recreating it into a much smaller concept, it's worth a try!

Interesting design, and overall a well made picture.
I just hope I won't get a lot of hate from other commenters for saying this - but I just personally think the head looks misplaced on this body. The head is so short and bulky, and the neck is so think and strong - it makes it feel like that would look better on a much more muscular and maybe even fatter body.
As a zoologist (on a unprofessional level, but still), I am just saying I can not buy this creature would exist in real life. I know it doesn't - but making it authentic is never wrong, I'm just saying.
Very good job either way. I just don't see why you put that head on that body. Sorry.

Why can't we see the back legs? Is that limb with a talon in front a single or double? How fast can it run?
I vote to put it on Lallande 21185 gamma, the 4th planet out in the (ns) Lallande 00001 system. A hot world where just barely enough water was present to let life evolve into complex forms, competition is fierce between the Gammaraptors and the two other dominant top predators on land, both as lean and tough as he is.
How's that?

That is fantasic and brilliant! And it really seems to have the moveable back, one point which makes the cheetah so fast. But one thing I noticed ...the heel of the extended feet at the hind legs are pointing forward while the toes pointing backwards, is this a typical feature of this creature?
