Model & MUA:This was my first time shooting in a studio, but Miki made it a lot of fun. This was a look regarding color combinations - red in this case.

3. Excellent choice of lighting to complement the character, that’s being portrayed in this photo, only to further this piece with a simple choice of camera angle, that is so surprisingly impressive as to stun or overwhelm us watchers. I would describe this display as a carefree protagonist with class, which resulted into a strong or vivid impression that gives us the sense of an upcoming challenge coming our way, like my own personal rival is waiting for my meeting, as if it was destine to be. Red presents an radiant energy that make us stop and question ourselves, in the good type of way, that’s presenting to the spotlight, our true identity behind the masquerade of lies. No doubt about it, this is great, and the precision and the amount of use of makeup is sexy, -but the angle and background, still could had been more better in my personal opinion, but I suppose it’s better to hear the distasteful truth, than a flavorful lie… well most of the time… Yet, I will still continue to search for undiscovered layers within this work of art, maybe I’ll prove myself wrong, and rank this Critique better… -Till the next return, from my exploration, within this photographer genius work, bravo and achieve higher achievement in the arts, Lady Kendra-Paige.

I like how the red stands out in this one, the head is one big red explosion! The lips, hair and even the eyes match well. Are those contacts?
The expression is the opposite of what you would expect with the bright red. For me red is usually associated with expressive emotions like rage or tenderness etc. This pose suits it well though, because of the contradiction. She has a thoughtfull and piercing eye aimed at the viewer which still show some of the inner emotions.
The rest of the photo is basicly build around the red, the eye automaticly goes to the red so that's a good thing. Maybe it would be a bit stronger if the background had a color that contradicts with the red to give it an even stronger boost.

I suppose I could try and give you a bit more to this comment. There isn't much to say, though. I like it on a sensual level. That's caught. That's done. Good job. I'm a bit biased, though. Red hair. Red lips. These things are strong positives for me, and I am always drawn to them.
The black and white accents the red really well, but black/white/red is a common color scheme and I don't feel like that deserves too much credit. Execution of it? Yes. Good job. The red is subtle. The black is done just enough to draw the eye and the white background makes everything "pop."
The dress is an interesting choice, as well. The added gems gives the model that "high class" kind of feel. Makes the model seem like she's a woman of status; a woman of status who's teasing me with the idea I may have if I play nicely.
All around a fantastic image.
