Date Masamune. That name sounds familiar. If I'm not mistaken, that's the name of a famous samurai from Japan's middle ages. Nice work here by the way.

You're correct. He was also called "The One-eyed dragon".
A daimiyo of Oshuu, I believe.
This Masamune here, though, is a game character.
But he's based on the original.

I see. So this is a character from a video game. So that's the name of the series he's from?
Another name that is famous which I know of is Hattori Hanzou, who was the leader of the Iga Ninja clan from the 1500s. His name is everywhere in movies, games, manga, ect.

Yeah, he's from Sengoku BASARA.
They have many characters who are based on real sengoku-period warriors
and lords. Nobunaga, Kenshin, Mitsuhide...

Oh it's super easy! Just practice making long strands with v shapes. Shade the edges of the v where light won't reach the hair. Oh this explanation sucks. There's tons of awesome tutorials here though on dA! They help me out all the time!
