5.0 is still pretty old, you should try CS3, its much better.

Well, Photoshop CS4 is out, and i checked the price tag, and its a whopping $999, which is alot by anyones standards.
But, 3D Studio Max is $3495, so its quite a bit more expensive than photoshop
