Adventure Time did it again with this episode. I felt both their pain, Marceline was trying so hard to get Ice King/Simon to remember their time together, but he's so far gone due to the crown, he can't. When Ice King/Simon was still partly in his right mind, he felt so horrible about losing himself to the crown and eventually deserting young Marceline.
I thought Ice King/Simon being the one to give Marceline that doll was a nice touch, you finally understood why she was so pissed at Ash for selling it. It wasn't /just/ a childhood toy, it was given to her in an act of 'Here, please don't cry, you're not alone'.

This is so very lovely<3. They look so sweet in your style. I honestly really hope they tell us more about Simon's past. They said how he got the crown, and his relationship with Marceline, but I really want to know all the things in between. I personally love the episodes were things get deep, and it reminds me that the setting is Post-apocalyptic Earth.

I think that's what I love most about Adventure Time. All the dark under-tones that you forget about as something silly happens and then when you're reminded of it, it has so much of a bigger impact.

It's called Adventure Time! There's a bunch of Episodes on youtube 8> They've reached a 100+ or so I believe, so there's plenty to watch and it's a really LOVELY show!

It sure does! I really want to know what happened during that Mushroom War that's frequently mentioned. I look at the Crown as being the One Ring since it causes its wearer to go crazy over time, change their physical form drastically, and make them do things they wouldn't normally do
