Upon Samson ’s ascent into godhood, he wanted to take his dearly beloved, Delilah, with him to the Celestial Realm. With her beauty being uncontested and due to the trust Uriel had in Samson, the gods allowed it. Thus, Delilah became the Goddess of Beauty and Love. After an affair with multiple individuals, however (known as the Divine Scandal), she broke up with Samson, wanting to share her beauty with all, as well as encouraging mortals to do the same; to freely indulge in the pleasures of love and intercourse. But over time, she quickly grew regretful over breaking her ex-husband's heart. To repent for the act she had committed, she dedicated her godhood to encourage mortals to find love, form long lasting bonds with friends, family and spouses, and to love and accept oneself as opposed to encouraging mortals to revel in sex and pleasure.
