Galaxy Girl Biography

An artifact (for lack of a better term) from the beginning of the universe, the Galaxy Gem could fit on a teaspoon, but contained power rivaling that of an entire galaxy, hence the name. Somehow, at some time and in some way, it became sentient, and encountered an astronomer/scientist named Ivan Novak. The Galaxy Gem read his mind and gave itself the rough form of something that Novak would find recognizable to put him at ease: a young adult woman. She introduced herself as "Galaxy Girl" and explained to her new acquaintance her interest in understanding the universe.

Novak quickly realized the immense power Galaxy Girl wielded and, being a good sort, felt it was his responsibility to both help guide her investigations into the secrets of the universe and to protect her from those who would take advantage of her abilities. He tutored her in morality the best way he knew how, with his Silver Age comic book collection.

Appearance: Galaxy Girl has the figure of a young woman, but appears to be wearing a body stocking that looks like the Milky Way Galaxy. This body stocking look comes up to her neck and is, in fact, her "skin." Her face looks like a movie star Novak finds attractive. She has long, silver, untamed hair that comes down to her ankles.

Powers: Galaxy Girl is a reality warper of immense power. She can read minds, teach herself languages, fly, and give herself super strength, among other abilities. She is invulnerable to most forms of physical attacks. Galaxy Girl can also fire blasts of immense power from her hands.

Personality: Curious and naive, Galaxy Girl is honest and guileless.

Weaknesses/Limitations: The main limitation Galaxy Girl has is that she believes the real world functions exactly like a Silver Age comic book. In addition, she will not allow Ivan Novak to come to any harm. Her powers can be reduced or even neutralized by a Black Hole.
