Some of you may already know this from the Rainbow Thor tumblr, who I selected to be Odin, Father of Thor in this work, Celestia. To me it was no contest, it NEEDED to be her, I thought. There was no way around it. It was briliant! And I really love how this turned out!Celestia was very fun to draw, and trying to get right.
And yes, before you ask, there will be one of Luna in here as well. I have plans for her.

The last person to see the Goddess of the Sun like this was Discord and it left him with a permanent phobic aversion to armoured ponies. I wonder who'll be the lucky next recipient?

RAINBOW THOR: And you are an old nag and a fool!!
(A slight pause...)
CELESTIA: Yes... I was a fool... to think you were ready....
TRIXI: Mother...
CELESTIA: (Raising a hoof) HEY!!
(Trixi shuts up.)
CELESTIA: (While walking up to R. Thor) Rainbow Thor Celestiakin, you have betrayed the express commands of your queen... (she rips her cape off with her teeth...) You are unworthy of your power... (removes one of the circular medallions from her armor) you are unworthy of your TITLE... YOU ARE UNWORTHY!!!
(Slight pause...)
CELESTIA: Of the loved ones you have betrayed.....
(She walks towards the activation post of the Bifrost...)
CELESTIA: I now take from you your power!
(Her horn glows, yanking Mjolnir from R.Thor's grip...)
CELESTIA: In the name of my ancestor...
(Parts of R. Thor's armor fall off...)
CELESTIA: And her ancestor before her...
(More armor falls...)
CELESTIA: I, CELESTIA ALLMOTHER... CAST YOU OUT!!!!
(She then uses a pulse of energy from the hammer to knock R. Thor into the portal! Then...)
CELESTIA: "Whosoever weilds this hammer... if he or she be worthy... shall possess the power of Rainbow Thor."
(She tosses the hammer in next!)
And scene! How's that for a slice of fried gold?
