Thanks for the comment. If you were to play it then it would play like a kinetic novel where only one choice is available. I guess it technically wouldn't be kinetic novel though, but that is the closest genre I can think of to describe it. Some might consider it film, but it's not really a film. Maybe it's a video novel? graghh!!!!

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I saw you have some amazing RPG Maker assets on your page, so hopefully it gave you some additional ideas with how RPG Maker can be used. Stay tuned for the first 3 episodes

No problem! I hope it works out for you.

I actually tried to use RPG Maker XP for a visual novel style of game and for a dolling game, but both ended up being a bit clunky. I ended up just shelving them for a later date. I switched over to 'Renpy' which gave me a lot more freedom in the visual novel format. You can do choices and graphics with it as well. It's pretty cool. Have you ever used Renpy before?

I am vaguely familiar with Renpy, but haven't used it. I agree the RPG Maker can be a bit clunky, but it is actually a pretty good tool if you wanted to make a different visual novel. There is also a little trial and error to fight through sometimes with RPG Maker but it works for what I need it to do.
