IT. IS. DONE.FINALLY.
I thought I would never finish it o/
Little ZS Samus / Bayonetta fanart I started when Bayonetta has been announced to fight soon in SSB4... I must admit, I've been really hyped =w=
Most important question (and answer) : why choosing to draw her with her first game design, rather than the official release one ? Well, at first I didn't notice, but I think it allowed me to play with colours. Maybe it added more depth to the drawing ? I immensely regretted this choice all the way from drawing to shading, but demn, I'm actually really pleased with the result. It was a hell to find references in order to accurately draw her, but I think a little interpretation was worth the price.
And, why ZS Samus ? Because I looooove to play her in SSBB and SSB4. Agility, power gain in SSB4, and maybe her taunts as well... I usually play with her. But, with Bayonetta arrival, and her interesting moveset, I think Samus has now a serious opponent in my heart.
Well, that last sentence was cheesy.

Yes, I kinda forgot that detail... ><" I don't know why I thought Samus to be that tiny (maybe because of Bayo's astonishingly long legs, and the non-existence of coherence between the proportions of the SSB fighters... Well, if Samus wins the battle, maybe I'll give her the right height back xD)

well sakamoto did the same thing. he weirdly made samus five foot two in MOM which makes no sense because in all the other games she's six foot three.

Well, we can also point out that, in some concept arts, Samus was a little bit more bulky... Well, I guess that won't make up for the mistake in this drawing anyway xD

Samus is 198 pounds because of her muscle. She's above 6 feet tall. Bayonetta is 8 feet tall I believe, she probably doesn't weigh much since she's so thin (except for her butt and thighs).
