Description OK, here is the painting I just finished for the new (09) Tori Amos RAINN benefit calendar. It's oil, about 20 x 30...still new at this medium, but it turned out ok, I think. I may offer the original for auction with proceeds going to RAINN...haven't decided, may depend on the interest.

I like to get out to Savannah or Charleston every couple of months but currently I'm living north of Atlanta. I was walking e. Bay st in the rain in the dark and saw your painting (took a photo of it just in case you didn't know it was there! Haha).

Yeah T'was just a visit... I do so love that city

Working with non-local color is always a risk, but when it works, it really says something! And this works. It speaks volumes about your lovely subject.

Thanks. And you are right...that is an area that I find especially hard, having worked in more realistic color schemes/local color.
