I put a texture on the bg just so....it seems a bit darker, because I like DARK THINGS! then I brought her out a little more
symbolic? Maybe LOL

Oh, wow. This is awesome! I think it was most certainly worth the time and effort! It does have that Tim Burton edge to it, like a pleasently eerie feeling. I love it!

agreed, hince why i was looking through alice in wonderland artworks. but yeah as i said everyones stuff looks the same, doesnt seem like ones trying to have their own style. iv got three Alices painting in my gallery myself, id love to hear a fellow Alice artists opinion of them

Like, I've seen Charlie and the CHocolate facotry and Sweeney Todd and stuff, but realy....just....started to like him. I'm in LOVE with him now.

D: Oh mann you need to see Edward Scissorhands and Nightmare before Christmas and his other movies- you would enjoy them. A lot. Your style reminded me SOMUCH of Nightmare before Christmas. Like your figure has a thin and have a kind of sad demeanor and there are lots of swirly fantastical shapes in the background like his. Oh yeah and I really like the texture you used

Yes I heard about Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland coming up on March of 2010! Can't wait! I've been really into Alice in Wonderland lately and read over 4 different kind of Alice in Wonderland. Never thought about how there's so many authors that got inspired by Lewis Carroll and wrote so many different kind of Alice in Wonderland. I'm reading the original one that he wrote but it's really cool. Love the originality and how there is so many different way to explain how high he was when he wrote this. lol
But still love this story and really excited to see it. <3
