The harsh roughness of the mountains is brilliant how it ocmpares to the relative softness of the horses. The horses look soft, but also tough enough to live in their harsh climate.
To me their surroundings represent how bumpy and rough a relationship can get--whether with friends or more than friends--but that a true relationship lives through it all.
