First impression: Wow!
You can immediately tell that this image has a lot of movement, and I, personally, love dynamic images. So many times you see pictures of a delicate white unicorn holding itself still as if posing for a photo. It's very refreshing to see one that's not silvery white and actually doing something. I also want to commend you for your selection of horse stock. I don't know if it was what you were going for, but using a bay and not a typical white actually makes it feel like the unicorn belongs in this scene. A good fantasy is one you can believe in so it makes sense to me that a unicorn who expects to thrive in dark forests would be darker in colour. Challenge stereotypes!
You say the tail's pissing you off, but it honestly looks fine to me.
What's bothering me is that hind hoof on the ground. It looks a bit as if it's plunging straight into the earth. I'm not sure if there's a rock or something in front of it (which would be covering the hoof) so I'm a little iffy on that.
There are also a couple stray marks of lighting (like on the back of the flank) which shouldn't be there if your light source is in front. It isn't a big issue, and I'm sure most other people wouldn't really notice, but I might as well point it out. Simply playing around with the burn tool should be a quick and easy fix.
While we're on the topic of lighting, I have to say that the glow on the tip of the horn looks great. Like I said, a good fantasy is convincing, and I like how that light actually looks like it's radiating. I've seen a lot of unicorns where the light on the horn looks like someone plucked one of those glow-in-the-dark stars off some kid's bedroom wall and stuck it on there. So...kudos to you!
A few other notes:
You might consider adding a tiny bit of shadow to the ground behind the unicorn...like diagonally adjacent in relation to the angle of the light source.
The horse in this image has a somewhat "painted" feel while the background still looks very much like a photo. This is something I see often so don't feel like you're the only one who does it. If the contrast is something you like, then there's no need to fix it. However, in my opinion, it looks a little awkward and makes me question if the subject belongs in the background. I have the tendency to paint over much of everything in my images, but if you don't feel like doing this, playing around with some filtres and effects should be sufficient.
Over all, you've done a stunning job here. I love how dynamic everything is, and therefore, how interesting the entire image is. Unicorns are an exhausted topic in the horse manipulation community, but you're definitely breaking the mold here.

Yeahh I see what you mean about the lighting, It was supposed to look like the ground where the unicorn had been was glowing but that has obviously failed xD

I wouldn't use the word "failed" at all! It's really a rather technical thing, and over all, the entire image is gorgeous.

well, i can't deliver critique because i can't afford a premium membership, but i will say that this is a phenomenal piece of art. the fluidity and movement is very defined, and the lighting/color gives intense emotion to the image. this is the first i've seen of any of your artwork, but it is excellent.
