Description I was always wondering what a planetary view from the sea would look like. So i made this!

Absolutely dazzling!
(and I usually don't give such high ratings)

I really love the colour and texture of the planet and the skies.

As this picture is a sort of abstract fantasy it is definitely up to your interpretation, but I would have liked it even more if there were more little details like clouds/shooting stars/galaxy swirls in it (though its understandable if you want a simpler background) and I feel like the planet could have made an even bigger impression if it was, well bigger. It seems to be sort of that size which is either too big or too small to be in perfectly harmonize with the mountains and hot air balloons.

The bright light blue stars and hot air balloon give it a more happy childish fantasy sort which contrasts with the deep mysteries of space. It kind of seems like two different worlds which may be too overboard (I don't think so but I'm kind of biased because I really like skies, so just saying if you want to watch out for that)

And obviously the hot air balloons are not really to scale (but it still looks great and I like it!)

In the future you could try one with a lighter bay sort that could contrast with the dark sky! And ripples/whirpools that reflect the starry galaxies (just suggestions that I like you don't have e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/wā€¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title="Wink/Razz"/>)

"Great job!" seems to fall short but I have a limited vocabulary and I feel like this critique is already too long e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā€¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

The only thing I would add to this impressive conception is the water's reflection of it's moon (or nearby planet without an atmosphere). Because the moon is so large, with a particularly bright spot facing the water, my eye expects to see its reflection on the darker surface of the water. At least the bright spot, which is as bright as the mountain range below it. The addition would add an extra impression of the picture's three-dimensionality.

The two balloons could be too high and too small to be reflected from this angle, so I'd just add the moon.

I hope this is useful for later pictures like this. I really like your work.

Thank you for the comment and opinion on this one. I was having the same thought about the planet. But i measured that it was out of range, but i could be wrong here (i usually miss things when i am tired). But i will keep this in mind for later pics.

Once again, thanks for the support, comment and tips. Highly appriciated

I think you should try and blend the planet in to the background more as it looks like it's in the atmosphere when it should be in space. Change the settings of the layer to overlay, screen.

It's in overlay now. In screen mode, every dark spot is non visible and made the planet look transparent. So i will try to make it look better next time i do this sort of picture (practice makes perfect). Anyways, thanks for the comment and tips. Highly appriciated.
