Description
Back in 2008 I did a little doodle of a pumpkin guy holding an axe [link] and also happened to come up with his own pumpkin guy shortly after. So he came up with the idea of teaming the two up for a Halloween picture. I came up with [link] Now two years later brought up the idea of bringing them back. Needless to say I was all for it because I really like the pumpkin guys and Halloween is my favorite holiday. So this is my pumpkin pic this time. I decided to go more realistic with them this time, or at least give them somewhat less cartoony proportions. I also wanted to make them scary this time. I’m not really sure if they are scary but they do feel a bit more supernatural and menacing. I also to this opportunity to modify my pumpkin guy a little by giving him a rag doll stitching look to his outfit. Basically so he didn’t look so plain next to ‘s fantastic Jacko design.

All in all I’m really happy the way this turned out one of those rare times my original image in my head perfectly matched the final image. This was drawn on marker paper and colored up in Photoshop; the background was done using Daz3D Studio and Photoshop as well.
