Description I was doing some loose sketches in my sketchbook, and ended up going the extra mile with this one. I love Fist of the North Star (Hokuto No Ken) and I've been tossing around the idea of doing some fan art for it but never really committed to it in any way. But I was digging how my loose Kenshiro sketch was turning out so I figured I'd polish it up a bit. It's still very sketchy but I like it. The energy glow was a pure accident, due to the amount of smudging my hand was doing I started to erase it and instant inspiration to go with it and make that the energy glow. This was a fun one for me.

Thanks! Well, if you're still a North Star fan, they have released several newer movies further expanding Kenshiro, Roah, and Toki's stories. You might have to do some hunting but they're out there.

Classic anime, I had the privilege of watching the original one and it was a wonderful piece! Not only that but it was remade, I came across one DVD a while ago, it was remade and looked wonderful! I really do love this picture, it's nostalgic for me. ^^ You did a great job Kenpudio!!

The Fist of the North Star movie was the 2nd anime I ever saw. So it holds a special place in my heart and my love of anime had alot to do with seeing that movie. I have enjoyed the recent OVA's and new re-telling movies that have come out in the past few years. But the old TV series is my favorite of all the 'Fist' stuff out there. 'Nuff of my rambling... Rambling is okay. ^^ I also prefer the old TV series as well, I came across it once late at night and I was hooked on it until I could see the ending. I even started to record it. But I never had enough time to actually record the rest of it but I was very happy to watch it. You're welcome!!
