That's what I thought too, but it never mentions Clearsight having a teardrop in Darkstalker. And it says all mind readers have the teardrop scaleΒ so maybe it's just the mindreaders that have it? But that wouldn't explain FateSpeaker. : P

Fun theory:
Fatespeaker is a mind reader (slightly) and when she "foresaw" Starlight coming it was actually a picture thought from Morrowseer. She might be seeing picture thoughts and claims that they are visions.
