Description Another picture of Jack and Missy. This was the picture that I told you folks that I wanted to do... granted it didn't turn out EXACTLY like I wanted... but I like it none the less. This picture made me uncomfortable so many times. I've never drawn a covered wagon and I don't like drawing horses nor pine trees and look! All three are present in this picture!

This is Jack and Missy's happily ever after picture, where they ride off into the wild blue yonder shortly after they are wedded. Jack is taking her to is ranch back at West Elizabeth. Of course their story doesn't end here! They have to work to rebuild the ranch, they have to raise their children and survive the upcoming depression. Oh yes, Jack and Missy still have plenty more adventures ahead of them!

Oh and this picture was inspired by the song by Josh Turner! The music video is so cute and his voice is so sexyfine, especially when he goes low!

Missy, Daisy and Virgil are my characters and belong to me.
Jack is a character from the video game Red Dead Redemption and belongs to the respective people.

Yes! They get their happily ever after!

And all the detail that you put into this is amazing. Go you for pushing your limits and not giving up!

Yes!!!!! It's a long journey, but they do get it! I suppose that is why it's so rewarding!

Thank you! Thank you! *bows*
I thought this one was hard, but the one I'm working on currently is a BEAST! It has horses, cattle and undead spawns from hell... but if I can do it, it will hopefully look cool!

Hey, I like the wagon, especially the shade, you many details as you place in the shadow of the drawings.
I do a lot of shadows in the drawing, and that's good, because it has a specific effect.
and why you say that you do not draw horses? Here the horse is fine, in fact more than good. Well, personally I hate drawing the back of horses, I like more the head.
only a small problem, it is very small but it is still important, I guess, the horse's reins undergo a wagon table, not under the horse, only a small piece.

P.S: Missy's face resembles that of a tiger daring. xD *¬* but this great...

Oh yayy! The wagon was so hard for me to do, so I'm glad that it looks good.

Ha, I don't like the heads because there are just so many shapes in a horses head! The rears are much easier I think. xD
Oh yes! I can see that now that you say that. The pictures I looked at weren't so good. xP Oops.

Ha! A Tiger? Ooh, Jack better watch out. xD
Thank you!

no problem (? xD

Well, yes, you're right, horses have different types of heads, but you can choose one in particular, like your style.
hahahaha I guess xD LOL

de nada n_n

I'm very impressed. That's a hell o a lot of detail. I could tell that by the time you got to spokes, your hand was hurting and you weren't using a reference. Also, I would suggest some practice on wrists.

But aside from that, the detail is astounding. The wood grain, for having relatively little practice in making it, is amazing. The hair is stellar and the horse is spot on. I can't draw horses at all, so major props for being able to tackle that!

Ha, wow was it that obvious. Yes, by the time I got to those I just wanted to be done. T.T
That is good for me to know. I'll take some time on working on those.

I've found that I'm fairly decent with horse on their own... but when I have to put people on them, that's when the trouble comes. I don't know why that gives me such a heart attack.

Ohh my, this looks so darling!
You really did an awesome job with the wagon and their poses - I'm impressed!
Also, I got the feeling that your coloring improved! I really love the color and shading here <3
Very lovely hun!

For not being comfortable with all three of these things, I think you did a fantastic job getting them down here! Congratulations for that! Just keep working at them until you find a way that you are comfortable with, but for now... this is a pretty wicked start. I would never have the courage to attempt these objects! The wagon seems intimidating! And here you are, nailing it so well. (:

I had a feeling, too, that this was inspired by the song! When I saw it in my inbox, the title alone put his voice into my head... so glad that I'm not the only one! x'D It would have been a crazy coincidence otherwise!

Really like Jack and Missy, too - I do hope to see more of their continued adventure in the future!

D'aww, thank you! I most certainly will have to work on becoming more comfortable with them now!
It's a really scary thing! I had to start over a few times and was almost discouraged. I was hard to not just give up, but I figured I would never get better unless I challenged myself.
Trust me the wagon was VERY intimidating.

It really would! Ha, but the song is so cute! I had almost forgotten about it until it had been played on the radio.

Oh you most certainly will! I am glad to hear you like them!

Of course! Challenging things that you're not comfortable with can always be a bit tricky, and many times, people will lose hope. But I'm really glad that you didn't give up because this turned out really well (: It seems like quite a challenge, but given how much you doubted it throughout, I would certainly say that the results were worth your effort. That wagon is extremely impressive <3 And I just love the horse bottoms

I agree - it's a great song! I listened to country music growing up, but since the station I listened to was shut down, I've had a hard time finding any good ones in my area. Lucky for me, there's Internet these days. I've been rediscovering so many great songs. And just from browsing your page briefly, it seems you've also got a fine taste in country music (: It can certainly be some of the most inspiring!

Of course I do - they actually work well together. After everything Jack's been through, he could use a good companion to help him out of his slump. I certainly do look forward to seeing them some more (:

Thank you again for your kind words
It is nice to take a step back and say "look at that, I created that"
Especially for that wagon, even though I can see a few things wrong with it, I'm still proud of it!
Ha, yes, I sort of ran out of room for the horse, and I didn't want to squish her head in and make it look awkward. I guess this makes her headless. xD

Ha, I listen to all sorts of music. I went through a period where I didn't like country music because it's all my mother and step mother listened to. Even now, I'm still semi-picky with my country. I like the older music more then the newer stuff. Like I can't stand Taylor Swift (but I have to hand it to her, Love Story is really cute).
That's a shame that the station went down, though. :/

Oh yes! You most certainly will see more of them.

Of course! (: I think strong encouragement is the best thing an artist can receive as it gives them confidence in their own abilities. And I think, especially with a piece that has a lot of different things that you were pretty unsure about, that can be just what you need!
I think, with this one especially, you should be able to step back and still be quite proud of it. It really is a great accomplishment, to push your own limits like this, and reach for new heights as an artist. The improvement is definitely there. So that is always something to be proud of ~
Ahh, well, I think it looks good regardless! And I just... really wanted to make reference to the horse bums because they look so fine x'D

I try to listen to a lot of different things, too. But I'm glad that you were able to overcome that stage - though, I do understand where you were coming from. When it's all that someone listens to, it can get a bit annoying after a time. Many people will write it off, though, and never come back to it D: I also agree with the idea of the older music trumping the newer music. Older country is the best country. I, myself, am also not a fan of Taylor Swift. In fact, I don't even know how they label her as country anymore, all she does is write about her breakups with other famous musicians... pfft. But she did have a couple of cute songs, you're right. But most of it just gets old...

I've actually done this a lot with some of the artwork I'm most proud off. I've also printed some of them out and stuck them on my wall for when I'm feeling down. They've been sort of my own motivational for myself.
Ha, what a nice badonkadonk that horse has! :3

I think too much of anything is bad for a person, but I'm the kind of person that goes through phases, but I've always come back to western type themes and magical-fantasy type themes.
Ah! Like Johnny Cash... I guess he's old and new, after all he sang songs up until his passing and Hurt is my favorite song by him.
It's very true, she has a few that are country, but a lot of them are... not so much.

Wow! That must really help you out a lot - I tend to do the same with my writing, though I don't necessarily keep it on the wall, haha! Whenever I'm feeling in a writing slump, I go back and read a few pieces that I really enjoyed writing to help me get my muse back. It does help a bit to go back and give youself that kick in the pants that you need to get the spirits back up.
Oh, Lord! x'D Of course, the horse has a great badonkadonk!

That's actually very true. Too much of something becomes obsessive, and that's never a good thing. But I've found that I, too, return to the Western themes in just about everything over time.
Absolutely! And Hank Williams - I really do have a passion for Hank Williams, even though my mother cannot stand when I play his music. Johnny Cash, though, is timeless. He was a hit for his time, and a hit after his time. He went above and beyond in covering Hurt. It certainly is a favourite of mine, as well.
There's a new name out for that type of country. It's like "pop country" or some ridiculous thing, which is most certainly not country. Even the more modern country artsits, who add elements of rock to their music, aren't to the extreme of that. I always find myself cringing a little bit when I hear people address her as "country" or claim to be a country fan because they listen to Taylor Swift, haha!
