One morning you wake up and get out of bed

For some strange reason, bad thoughts run through your head

you sit on your couch and turn on the news

Not to your surprise two countries are low at their fuse

One attatcking the other, lives are at risk

The other decides to gain revenge and becomes very brisk

You sit there unhappily with a frown on your face

The world uncovers yet another war, a life-threatening race

Why is power and victory so important to all

It may leave one country happy, but brings the other to a crawl

If war keeps continuing will the world ever have peace?

As far as the eye can see, death will be the least.

Many victims are helpless and the innocent attacked

People left starving while their families are broken and cracked

Governments raise taxes to earn money for supplies

All for gaining power yet hearing many cries

Why cant the world just decide on peace

If we all cant comply then the world we will cease

Every second two lives are taken from the face of the earth

I think that the entire world should start a re-birth

A complete world without any wars or fighting at all

Families will stay together instead of a "close call"

It gives families one less reason to have fear in their mind and be afraid

That one morning you might wake up to an officer at the door saying "I'm sorry your loved one just died in an air raid--."

Tragedies happen enough in the world as it is

Just think about how much war adds on to this fizz

So many families broken, So many lives lost

Their families at the cite, So many hearts it will cost

Families will lose money from being over taxed

Stress will occur without space to relax

People who are against war will try to make it stop

While others continue supporting that, and others at weaponry shops

The governments of the countries going into a war

Will cost them millions of dollars causing their budgets to be sore

Americans stand for PEACE, LIBERTY, JUSTICE, and FREEDOM

War leads to innocent deaths and really, who needs em'?

Hopefully one day the world will be without war

Innocent death, Broken families, No homes and sadness no more

People and families wont have to become ripped apart

People can have a reason to be cheerful and love life with all their heart

If the world didnt have war there would be so much less stress

There may be problems but taking away death and sadness would subtract the mess

The governments would all have no reason to panic or make stressful decisions

There would be no more arguments and death sentancing collisions

One day me and others hope this could be true

And when it comes to War or No war, that is my view.
