Description Postosuchus tucks into a fresh placerias carcass while a trio of unruly coelophysis wait in the wings.

If you anyone notices some Changes to the original picture One of the comments pointed out that my depiction of postosuchus was in error since it was quadrupedal instead of bipedal. What I had drawn turned out to be closer to a prestosuchus or a saurosuchus. So I had choice of making a time traveling Prestosuchus or make postosuchus proper. So I have decided to make the corrections to the original image and would like to thank the commenters who pointed out the error It also gave me chance to fix some of my cast shadows.

I couldn't, its skeletal anatomy wasn't suited for that:Β images.squarespace-cdn.com/con… If you want something like what you depicted, Prestosuchus and Saurosuchus would fit the bill.

Unfortunately making them Prestosuchus still doesn't make them completely accurate, since rauisuchians either had only two rows or just one row of scutes running along the very top of the body ;Β they weren't as heavily armoured as modern crocodilians.Β

Also changing Postosuchus to Prestosuchus might take away some anatomical errors, it does add in a significant temporal/geographical one:Β Prestosuchus didn't live at the same time/place as Coelophysis or Placerias.

Still an excellent illustration overall though; I like the detailing of the dicynodont's skin.
