Another jewelry piece, sorry again XDbut I assume the people who aren't interested don't click on the thumbnail anyway and won't even see my apology >_<
Last one for a while, i promise~~~
This is the first necklace I made, before all the others but I couldn't get a decent photo of it until I bought the fake neck yesterday
It is based on the necklace worn by the girl in my cg, drosophila [link] , and it's worn at the side of the neck
Materials
- cloth
- wax string and black thread
- thin metal chain
- seed beads
- wood beads
- fake pearl bead things
- wire (for antennae)
- clasps and stuff at the back

I got most of my supplies from wal-mart and the dollar store, and some from craft stores. I go craaazy whenever I see beads for sale @_@ I loooooooove beads!!!

the fake neck was such an adventure
we went through every single craft store in mississauga, and the only one that existed was a small black velvet one at Michaels (which wasn't too bad except that my STRING is BLACK as well and... yeah....I needed a white one)
So we asked a jewelry store where to buy them!! and the lady gave us the name and location of a store in downtown Toronto, that sells jewelry-making supplies for professionals, it was full of complicated-looking machines and pieces of machines and non-noob stuff
as for the background, it's a black semi-transparent cloth for decorating, that i bought at wal-mart. It's actually the same black cloth as the one I used on the butterfly (I used two cloths on it, one black with the flowery pattern, and one white with the grid)

Another beautiful piece. It looks so intricate and delicate. I would love to see what the clasp looks like also. Have you worn it yet? This seems like a necklace to be worn with a formal gown but would make for an interesting conversation starter if it were paired with a nice blouse. Instant
