I'm a huge fan of Romantically Apocalyptic , a delicious web-comic made by the ever so talented .You can start reading the comics here , highly recommended.
Anyways, my favorite character is the worryingly insane Pilot, and as I pondered with the idea of drawing him I thought, "well I might as well add my admiring self to the drawing".
My favorite color is red; if I were a character in the romantically apocalyptic universe, I'd want my signature-color to be red. Alas there is already a red character - the Biomatrix 117, i.e. Cancer. "Well then, I wouldn't mind being one of the beings integrated into the biomatrix", I thought, and started drawing.
That's Cancer-consumed me, then, showing my affection to a somewhat bewildered Pilot.
May we ignore the background, as it is the first time I ever attempted a cityscape. MEH.

OMG, yes. This. I'd be right there with you, and something tells me Pilot wouldn't handle rabid fangirls like us very well. It would probably go much like this. Love your concept and rendering!
