Planning to do the editing on Elska's backstory soon, so I wanted to draw a picture of what his father looked like. Elska was 18-years-old at the time while Sven was alive, so he looks younger (he's about 39.)

So, Sven is the drunkard father that was emotionally/mentally abusive to Elska. He's never laid his hand on Elska, yet the words and neglect hurt worse. Sven is a very scorned man that dislikes his Son, but mainly because of a troubling past that made him become distant from him. Sven's first love died in a tragic car accident, and he was in the car during the crash. He survived, yet he was scarred with survivor's guilt, resulting in his drinking to wash away the memories that would creep up on him. He eventually found love in Muriam Leia, becoming better overtime the two spent together. But the time Muriam had Elska, and watching the child grow, he couldn't help but see something within his only son that reminded him of his first love. It was mostly something in Elska's eyes that made Sven remember his dead lover, driving back to drinking, becoming more distant as he would watch Elska grow and see that his son was walking in his same footsteps of being a hopeless romantic. Now he blames Elska for the reminder of his past, and for his drinking.
