Angelfish/ 35 points/ =Chachiko-sama
Famed for their beauty, angelfish merfolk are vastly intelligent and despite their appearance, excellent at hiding in plain sight. They rely on strong alliances for safety, rather than fighting themselves.

Butterflyfish/ 35 points/ ~Enchanted-Adoptables
Equally famous for their beauty, butterflyfish merfolk are great warriors, better known for defending against the Shark and Eel armies. They are strong allies of the Angelfish, most of their wars spent defending the Angelfish from predators.

White Eel/ 30 points/ (80 points) ~Kombanwa
Separate from the Shark and Eel armies, white eels are nomadic and peaceful, and generally live in close quarters with the Angelfish. The Butterflyfish don't really trust them, but respect their peaceful presence and won't harm them for their Eel blood.

Catfish/ 35 points/ ~Diamond-Moon
Strong, wise and peaceful, the Catfish are often meditative and disciplined, both mentally and physically. They often mentor young Angelfish in meditation, as they are highly intelligent and prone to worrying about the finer details.

Deepsea Merman/ 30 points/ (Gift) ~Kombanwa
A subspecies of the siren or humanoid mermaid, this species of mercreature is reserved to the deepest parts of the ocean, growing biologically closer to fish than humans, whom they virtually never encounter at such depths. They are neutral, virtually never involved in the politics or wars of other merfolk.
However, they are on friendly terms with the Eels, because they often live at deeper sea levels unlike the other merfolk.

Faerie/ 25 points/ ~Diamond-Moon
Related to the Abatwa, tiny humans featuring in Zulu mythology. Like the Abatwa, these faeries are shy and will only tolerate being seen by children or the frail. Seeing one is said to bring good luck and health. They often grow too attached to human children and fall in to deep depression when children become ill or pass away.
