Her family had owned a shooting range, and since her father was also a gunsmith, he had explained to her what a sniper rifle was and how to shoot it, because it was the one gun that had grabbed Sonoe's attention. She wanted to know anything she possibly could about snipers, and sniper rifles. Sonoe is farsighted, so she was good at seeing targets from afar, and she also had a very steady hold on the sniper rifle, which helped with accuracy.

Sonoe has always been a quiet person, one who doesn't want to really talk as much as others would. She'd rather listen to what others have to say, rather than having to speak at all. Sonoe gives small comments every now and then, and it's not hard to have a conversation with her, but she's usually one to give small sentenced answers. Sonoe, despite her quiet, and distant nature, is a very curious person. Like every other human being she has a very strong curious nature, and loves to learn, or figure out new things.

Sonoe was taught to always be polite and obedient, and to always follows rules. She will usually do things that people ask her to do, though this makes her somewhat a pushover, she says that if she doesn't do it, it's most likely that no one will do it. Sonoe isn't very good at comforting people, though she tries by pointing out the bright side of situations even if it's obvious that there really isn't a bright side when it comes to some situations.

Since she thinks of herself as just a side character she helps as much as she can. She doesn't want others to feel sad or depressed in any way, and since she doesn't know how to express her own feelings she wants others to express theirs because she knows that others are more capable of giving their thoughts and emotions on a situation. She's always been one to be able to endure situations with a blank face, but honestly she wishes that she knew how to express emotions.

History/Family:

Sonoe lived in a three person family, which only consisted of her dad, her mom, and herself, with their dog Ryu. Her family owned a shooting range, which was watched by her mother, and her father was also a gunsmith. Her mother and father seemed to have personality switch, with her mother being very loud, and strong headed, and her father being a gentle, and soft spoken man, but she was perfectly fine with how they acted, because that meant they were a different kind of family. Ever since she was a child she was used to staying by herself, since she didn't really have free time, due to having to help her parents work at her young age, and she didn't have any siblings either. When she was in elementary school, she was always somehow forgotten or lost in the crowd because of her small figure, which she never liked. Straight after school she would come straight home to do chores, or fix dinner, or she would help her mother at the shooting range, or watch her dad with the guns that he made, and sold.

She had learned a lot about various amounts of guns when she was this age, because she would always ask her father, and the people who came to the shooting range. She was very fond of the information, but she had loved learning about sniper rifles, and all the types there were. She would look at the collection her father had made, and would ask him all types of questions about the gun.

Sonoe made friends with the people who regularly came to the shooting range, but the people who came were usually somewhere in there mid 20s or older, so she didn't really get to spend time with people her age. Although she was always either, lost i the crowd or forgotten she hated this fact because she had always wanted to make friends with other student around her. Sonoe was a very awkward girl and didn't have many topics to talk about other than guns, and shooting which she knew most kids were probably not interested in.. For a young girl, she used rather big and difficult words, so she also had hard time having long conversations with other kids without most likely confusing the other child.

When she started middle school was when her eyesight started to take effect. When she tried to read things up close it would turn out blurry, and she would have to pull back to be able to see things clearly. When she told her parents they took her to an eye doctor and they found out she needed glasses, but instead of getting glasses Sonoe had settled for contacts because she thought it would be annoying to have glasses when she was practicing her shooting, but just in case she bought extra contacts, and emergency glasses.

Sonoe had perfected her shooting, accuracy, and precision at a very young age, which was 14. Since she was always practicing with long distance shots, and accuracy, Sonoe never really became very good when it came to close combat. She's not very well skilled when it comes to fighting at close range, and she becomes very clumsy due to this. When it comes to running though, she is surprisingly very quick. She has smooth movements when it comes to side-sliding, or knee sliding, and ducking, but at the same time she has very low stamina. Long distance is her strength, and she can shoot anything with very precise accuracy, but she's a lot stronger when she has her main weapon with her, which is her sniper-rifle.

With a silent nod the girl walked into the dining room, picking up the envelope that was set on the middle of the table. Taking a seat on one of the chairs, she opened the envelope, before pulling out what was inside. 'Hopes Peak Private Academy' was written across the top of the paper. REading through the letter carefully, Sonoe gave a small hum, before standing up. She pushed her chair in, and made her way to her room, the letter still in her grasp.
