Same! I view them so strangely in my head.
Twilight is Muslim
Rarity is a stick (so pretty much no bewbs, possibly Asian)
Rainbow dash is African
Pinkie is chubby
Fluttershy is also a twig, though I'm starting to like the idea of her being a sweater puppy kind of girl
Applejack is essentially my old neighbor (I grew up on a ranch) XD

so yeah... I also like the idea of Spike being African as well with a cutie mohawk and gauges.

My views keep changing the more I see all this awesome fanart -flails and sobs wildly-

I'm glad you like her design. I'm actually kind of chubby and I'm probably going to cosplay as her in this outfit >_> JUST NEED TO LEARN HOW TO SEW! -facepalm-

hahaha, yeah, i like some of those, or things close to them. like, for me, i imagine:
-twi=african-american or asian
-rarity as having a thin body, but wide hips/legs, and very fair skin
-dash as being kind of tan, with a thin/atletic build
-chubby pinkie
-AJ...probably same as you
-fluttershy as having very pale skin, and a very thin build
aww, hahaha...good luck with the costume! i'm sure if someone like me can learn to sew, you probably can too!

Ooh I totally dig your interpretations. I imagined Twi as Asian at first, and then suddenly she had on this cute head wrap and I loved it. :3

I like the idea of Rarity with wider hips, too. Did you ever see Firefly? I imagine her as having Zoe's body type, sort of like a gazelle.

hahaha, yeah, the headwrap thing could be cool, no reason an asian twi couldn't wear one. it's starting to become a fashion thing, i know several girls who like wearing them, even though they're not muslim, or even middle eastern
