I promised myself to redraw the same drawing every year for 3 years straight while trying to learn how to draw better. This concludes year one. To see the first version go here: www.deviantart.com/keslertorto…

I chose a different color pallet and a more dynamic pose, mostly because I felt a grew in those fields the most. I definitely worked hard on learning to paint backgrounds, which I never did before then, and gain confidence in movement. There are many more fields I'd like to grow in over the next year, and I of course have to continue to grow in newly acquired skills as well.

Thank to everyone who is following my art journey! Can't wait to try this again next year
