Description A little head-canon speculation on a character from "Bendy & the Ink Machine," but instead of using Bendy or Boris (so not to upset many people that would strongly disagree), I used their insane creator, Joseph "Joey" Drew!

*Many already compare Mr. Drew to a sort of an Anti-Walt Disney figure, but it's too easy & too disrespectful to use Walt's image on the meme, so I found some other fitting characters for it.*

*Dr. Victor Frankenstein (Frankenstein)- Like Victor, Mr. Drew probably was a respected figure in the past, but went insane after bring dead and/or non-living things to life; which many thought was impossible to do. Even the people around him thought that he was a mad man from just thinking the idea of playing God.
(Bendy & Boris and many other characters Joey created are like Frankenstein's Monster as well)

*John Hammond (Jurassic Park, book version)- And I said the 'book version,' because Hammond wasn't anything like he was in the movie. In the book, John Hammond was a megalomaniac who only cared about his park coming to life & doesn't care who gets killed off doing so, including his own grandchildren!
Which is exactly what Mr. Drew is doing to his own studio & staff after when bringing his creations to existence.

*Soun Tucker (Fullmetal Alchemist)- Like Soun, Joey has no conscience on who or what's life he has to sacrifice to make his God fantasy come true. Including his own & the lives of his own creations!
And he succeeded as seen what Joey had done to Boris, and possibly himself....

*Ragyo Kiryun (Kill La Kill) - If any of you seen or heard of "Kill La Kill," you'll know why I compared Joey to Ragyo.
But instead of world domination, Joey is obsessed with power & immortality.

*The Collector (Bonkers)- Like this one-time villain, I have a theory that Joey Drew wants to be a toon himself. But instead of a mish-mash costume to hide his outer appearances, Joey also wants to be a toon on the inside as well; Hence Boris' missing organs.

*Ed Wood- Why compare Drew to Wood? Well, I also have a theory of many reasons why Joey is insane, and that includes his film history.
Like how Wood's movies were botched by critics & movie goers alike; Joey's Bendy cartoons were possibly ridiculed by censors, producers, activists, and the religious.
Because nobody back then believe that characters like a demon or a wolf (who were usually/only portrayed as villains in the media at the time) could be likable characters nor marketable.
But that didn't stop Joey from making the cartoons, nor his obsessions of wanting to be one.

*John Kricfalusi- Hate to break it to you "Ren & Stinmpy" fans, but the cartoons' creator was not a nice guy as you think he is in the pictures. Some of his (ex) co-workers said Kricfalusi was the most difficult person to work with; just like the staff (at least one of them over a recording machine) said about Joey before they left.

*John/Jack Torrance (The Shining)- Nuff' said.

*Venom from the Spider-Man series (Marvel)- I strongly believe that the ink monster at the end of Chapter 1 was Joey Drew, and the ink acts like The Symbiote once Joey gathered everything to complete his transformation.

All these seem to suit him perfectly. The fact that he disrespected his employees to the point where he was willing to kill and/or sacrifice them proves this even more.

I agree and I approve with ALL of this. I got excited when I saw Frankenstein, because I love that story to death and I think it fits well with this franchise. Well done.

Wow, those traits actually make sense. I wonder if Joey Drew suffered something to make him insane as he was.

Obsession, too many backlashes from the public, fame got to his head, and possibly alcohol.Β

Hmmm, these are all good possibilities. I also thought of other things that could contribute to him acting like that. But I didn't want to say them for fear of offending anyone. Though if any possibility choices of what could've happened to Joey Drew were given to me, I'd agree that the alcohol and fame getting to the head had done it to him.

Well, going by Kessie's logic, I think what drove him insane was the harsh critisism and straight out hatred of his cartoons. But, that's just my theory.

Hmmm, that would make sense.
